I got the chance to talk Muay Thai nutrition with Sam Miller, founder of SBG Nutrition, and we certainly cover some ground in this Podcast interview. Sam candidly shares his experience working in person with Thai boxers at Sumalee Gym in Phuket, and online with fighters from around the word, along with regular ‘health’ clients.

We discuss many aspects of a Thaiboxer’s nutrition, from nutrition qualifications, losing fat, gaining muscle, how to best make weight for fights and get it back on again, weight categories and growing fighters, recovery between sessions, metabolic typing, nutritional individualisation, male and female fighter nutrition differences, recommended supplements, cheat meals, calorie targets, energy drinks before fights, low carb diets, intermittent fasting, diet and mindset, and Sam’s recommended sources of nutritional information!

I hope you find this interview useful, Sam certainly shares some great info!
