There’s been a lot of discussion on social media about Conor McGregor’s cardio (or lack of cardio conditioning) against Floyd Mayweather – and reflection on the importance of a strong aerobic base in any fighters training program.
These discussions are useful. Aerobic capacity and aerobic power are two foundation qualities that any fighter must have, and should be the bedrock of a strength and conditioning program. Watch the video to learn the difference between them, and how to train for each.
